Monthly Regulatory Seminars to gain practical knowledge about the industry while building skills and experience that you can put on your resume! Each month will focus on one pharma/biotech topic at these seminars. One member will get to practice their leadership skills as the meeting facilitator while other members will participate in learning as a presenter, discussant, critic, or other role. We will focus on accumulating practical knowledge and looking at contemporaneous examples in pharma/biotech product development. The more you do, the more experience you gain.

Nonclinical Resume writing instruction and assistance is included with your membership. You receive access to all the materials you need to convert your clinical CV into a nonclinical resume. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to attend dedicated coaching sessions on perfecting your resume for personalized help. If you purchase an annual PISIG membership, you will even receive a 1:1 coaching call to get individual, professional help with your document.

Unable to attend the series live? No worries, series videos will be posted in the PISIG Archive for easy reference!

About PISIG Founder Laura McKain, MD
Laura McKain, MD is a board certified Ob/Gyn physician who was in private practice for a dozen years before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry almost 15 years ago. She has worked at large and small contract research organizations and pharma/biotech companies across a number of roles and therapeutic areas. She has provided leadership to projects culminating in the approval of two new pharmaceutical products.
Enthusiastic about her own career transition, Laura founded the Facebook Physician Nonclinical Career Hunters Group which has grown to more than 20,000 members. It has supported physicians transitioning away from clinical medicine to a variety of industries. She has founded this group to lend her experience in the industry to physicians aiming for a career in pharma-biotech.
